Gas rates adjustment effective November 1, 2012

Effective November 1, 2012, the commodity price applicable to Utilities Kingston’s system gas customers will increase $0.0185 per cubic metre to $0.1860 per cubic metre.
Effective November 1, 2012, the transportation and storage price applicable to Utilities Kingston’s natural gas customers will increase $0.0064 per cubic metre to $0.1261 per cubic metre.
The overall effect of these price changes will increase a typical residential natural gas bill (3100 cubic metres annually) by an estimated $77 annually.
