Utilities Kingston is responsible for supplying, distributing and metering electricity and natural gas in the City Central. Utilities Kingston is also responsible for supplying, distributing and metering water and for collecting, pumping and treating sewage for the entire City of Kingston. Over the past two years, Utilities Kingston has been developing a high-speed broadband community network and currently has over 40 kilometers of fibre-optic cable laid throughout the City of Kingston.
