Effective January 1, 2008, any rental unit plus utilities, that has not contacted Utilities Kingston to set up a utilities account, will be notified by mail that the electric service will be disconnected.
To avoid service interruptions please ensure that, if the property is vacant, you contact Customer services at 613-546-0000 or use this site's online account tools to set up an account. Owners please ask about our "Auto Set-up Option."
If the property is occupied, please ensure that your tenants have contacted Utilities Kingston to set up an account in their name. Account set up fees will apply.
If the service is disconnected, a reconnection fee will be applied to the account set up in either, your name or your tenant's name.
