Rural Broadband Provider Announced

OmniGlobe Networks Inc. has been selected to provide wireless broadband access to unserved rural areas of the Kingston region. The effort to offer the rural
communities high-speed Internet access reflects a joint effort of the City of Kingston (inlcuding Utilities Kingston and the Kingston Economic Development
Corporation), Frontenac County and the province's Ontario Municipal Broadband Partnership Program.

FibreWired Kingston is operated by Utilities Kingston. The only shareholder for Utilities Kingston is Kingston Electric Distribution Limited, which in turn is wholly owned by the City of Kingston.

million per year. We reinvest approximately $20 million in local capital infrastructure and pay roughly $1 million in property taxes every year. We employ over 100 people.
