UTILITIES KINGSTON ANNOUNCES IMPORTANT BILLING CHANGES
Utilities Kingston will be making billing changes effective March 1, 2002.
Based on customer feedback, we have extended our due date from 16 to 21 days. This provides an additional 5 days from the bill
issue date for you to remit your payment. For pre-authorized payment (PAP) customers, we will be moving your withdrawal date
so that you will also benefit from this extension.
As in the past, Utility payments that are paid by the due date will not be subject to Late Payment Charges. All balances that
remain outstanding after the due date indicated on the front of your utility bill, will be subject to a 1.5% late payment
charge. However, if the amount due on your bill is $20.00 or less, you are not required to pay the bill, and late payment
charges will not be applied.
