The Compliance Reports provide information to the public on such things as the quantity of water supplied to the City of Kingston, water quality, and the quantity and dosage of treatment chemicals used in the provision of safe drinking water to the city.

"The Utilities Kingston Web site, with the additions of the Compliance Reports for the municipal water treatment plants, is an integral part of providing our customers with important and up-to-date information on the water treatment systems," says Kevin Riley, Utilities Kingston Treatment Group Manager. "Our water treatment plants have always provided clean and safe water which meets or surpasses the minimum standards required under the Ontario Drinking Water Protection Regulation."

Quarterly water quality reports are also available for residents. The reports are prepared in response to Operation Clean Water, an initiative of Ontario's Ministry of the Environment to ensure high quality drinking water for the residents of Ontario.
