POWER LINE CLEARING OPERATIONS HELP SECURE PROPER CLEARANCE
Utilities Kingston will conduct power-line clearing operations throughout city central starting the first week of November. The work will continue until the end of December 2003.
The purpose of the work say utility officials is to secure proper clearances between hydro lines and trees that will "help minimize problems when power outages occur".
As the work progresses, the contractor working on behalf of Utilities Kingston will make every effort to inform residents when accessing private property.
Utility officials anticipate the work will cause minimal inconvenience to homeowners.
