UTILITIES KINGSTON TO DO GAS WORK ON DIVISION STREET
Utilities Kingston will begin preventative maintenance work tonight on an underground high pressure gas main in the southeast quadrant of Division Street at the Elliott Avenue intersection.
"This work will take place at night, from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. to avoid further congestion to the area from the Montreal Street detour," says Don Quinn, Manager of Underground Infrastructure for Utilities Kingston. "The concrete barriers and pylons, to flow traffic around the site, will be set up and taken down each day."
Weather permitting, the project should be complete by May 5.
