CITY LIFTS BOIL WATER ADVISORY
After receiving satisfactory results on water samples taken from the Highway 2 water system, the City, in consultation with KFL&A Public Health, has lifted the Boil Water Advisory to residents living east of CFB Kingston.
The results indicated that the municipal water supply servicing the affected area were within the provincial requirements for safe drinking water.
The advisory came after a water main break in the City's east end resulted in low pressure in the municipal water system. Residents of nearly 300 homes in the affected area were advised to boil their water before drinking and cooking.
