2006 FLOOD TRACKING

Utilities Kingston is tracking residential and commercial flooding that Utilities Kingston customers may have experienced on Nov 16-17 and Dec 1-2, 2006.

Utilities Kingston is asking their customers to contact the local utility if they experienced flooding during either of two significant rainfall events that occurred on Nov 16 to 17 and Dec 1 to 2, 2006.

"The information you provide may assist staff in making appropriate infrastructure investment decisions in the future," says technical service manager Jim Miller.

If you are a residential or commercial customer who experienced flooding during either of these rainfall events, contact the Utilities Kingston customer service centre at 613-546-0000, Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

"You will be asked to provide your name and address, the date the flooding occurred," adds Miller. "You will also be asked to identify the source of flooding if possible, such as wash tub, toilet, floor drain, basement wall, or other source."
