MEDIA ADVISORY: CONSERVATION EFFORTS RECOGNIZED
Peter Love, Chief Energy Conservation Officer of Ontario, will present a Certificate of Recognition to Utilities
Kingston for their outstanding achievement during the 2006 Refrigerator Retirement Program, aimed at retiring old,
electricity guzzling refrigerators. Utilities Kingston surpassed their retirement target of 600 by more than 60%
retiring 948 refrigerators.
