Sewer main repair underway on Bath Road

In late May, Utilities Kingston began work on a sewer main repair on Bath Road, between Centennial Drive and Tanner Drive, with the installation of a temporary sewage pumping station and overland pipe to maintain service during the repair.
Starting on July 9, our contractor, Tomlinson, began construction work to repair the sewer main by replacing approximately 140 metres of the sewer pipe. The work is expected to be completed within three weeks.
We have notified businesses directly impacted along this section of Bath Road. At least one entrance to each business will remain open at all times, and pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the construction area.
During the work, there will be a temporary lane shift affecting the northernmost westbound lane of Bath Road. Traffic will continue to flow in both directions, but drivers are asked to use caution and follow the temporary lane configuration.
We do not expect any service disruptions during this work.
Thank you for your patience as we complete this infrastructure repair.
