Utilities Kingston will not be renewing its current marketing agreement with Service Line Warranties Canada (SLWC). As part of our regular review of partnerships and marketing agreements, we assess alignment with organizational priorities and evolving needs. This decision follows a comprehensive internal review of the program’s operational impacts, customer experience, and alignment with Utilities Kingston’s strategic direction. As a result, the endorsement agreement will not be renewed upon its expiration. 

SLWC is a home repair service company that offers repair plans to local homeowners through partnerships with municipalities and cities, and works with a trusted network of professional contractors. Its services cover water, sewer, and internal plumbing line repairs, and have recently expanded to include gas and electrical services. 

While SLWC may continue to operate and offer its services in Kingston, the Utilities Kingston endorsement will formally expire on December 10, 2025. After this date, Utilities Kingston will no longer have any involvement with SLWC from a marketing or partnership perspective, and Utilities Kingston’s name, branding, and logo will no longer be associated with or used by SLWC.
