We provide quality water to 38000 homes and businesses. Our employees operate 3 water treatment plants, 600 kilometres of water main, 5,210 water valves, 4 booster stations, 10 water storage facilities and 3,385 fire hydrants. 23 billion litres of treated water were pumped through our system in the past year, 1 billion litres less than the year before. In 2016, we added 47 water valves and 1 fire hydrant to the system.

Wastewater

We provide safe and reliable wastewater services to nearly 37,000 homes and businesses, while minimizing impact on the environment. Our employees maintain 496 kilometres of sewer main, 6,456 maintenance holes, 37 sewage pumping stations, 9 combined sewer overflow tanks, and 3 wastewater treatment plants. We added 6 kilometers of sewer main and 103 maintenance holes to the system in 2016.

We provide safe and reliable wastewater services to nearly 37,000 homes and businesses, while minimizing impact on the environment. Our employees maintain 496 kilometres of sewer main, 6,456 maintenance holes, 37 sewage pumping stations, 9 combined sewer overflow tanks, and 3 wastewater treatment plants.

Gas

We maintain a safe and reliable gas distribution system, serving 15,000 homes and businesses in central Kingston. Our employees maintain 256 kilometres of gas main, 226 kilometres of gas services, 1,364 mainline gas valves, and 9 gas pressure regulating stations. In 2016, we added 1 kilometre of gas services, 43 mainline gas valves, and 1 gas pressure regulating station to the system.

Electricity

We provide asset management, billing and operational services to Kingston Hydro, which in turn is the Ontario Energy Board licensed distributor of electricity for 28,000 customers in central Kingston. Our employees service 5,398 poles, 1,796 transformers, 17 distribution substations, 1,426 underground structures, 104 kilometres of 5 kV underground cables, 180 kilometres of 5 kV overhead conductors, 7 km of 44 kV underground conductors, and 48 kilometres of 44 kV overhead conductors.

We provide asset management, billing and operational services to Kingston Hydro, which in turn is the Ontario Energy Board licensed distributor of electricity for 28,000 customers in central Kingston. Our employees service 5,243 poles, 1,793 transformers, 17 distribution substations, 1,398 underground structures, 103 kilometres of 5 kV underground cables, 180 kilometres of 5 kV overhead conductors, 7 km of 44 kV underground conductors,  and 48 kilometres of 44 kV overhead conductors.
