2016 Achievements

Our technicians build and upgrade traffic signal intersections, install street lights, and quickly respond to traffic signal problems and street light outages. We strive to make this infrastructure as reliable and efficient as possible.

Here are some of the highlights from this past year:

Replaced 42 end-of-life poles, visually inspected 2255 poles (20 poles were prioritized for replacement), built or rebuilt 3 intersections, installed pedestrian countdown signals at 10 intersections, installed 60 UPS batteries at 13 intersections, installed driver feedback signs at 5 locations, installed 11 solar stop sign flashers and 2 pedestrian crossovers. The higher number of poles replaced in 2016 are an outcome of visual inspection undertaken in 2015.
