Let’s create real change: Bell Let’s Talk Day is Jan. 24

Bell Let’s Talk Day is January 24, 2024. We are joining in and committing to take meaningful action to create positive change.

Since 2010, Bell Let’s Talk has partnered with more than 1,500 organizations providing free mental health support and services in communities big and small around the world. Bell Let’s Talk Day has become the world’s largest conversation about mental health, increasing awareness and helping create real change.

Did you know?

  • One in two people struggling aren’t getting the help they need
  • One in eight have experienced high levels of anxiety
  • Twenty-one people die by opioid overdose every day
  • More than 200 people in Canada attempt suicide every day

Ways to take action

Every day, we can all take meaningful action to create positive change. Join the conversation and share your actions online using #BellLetsTalk to help inspire others. Some other ways to get involved include:

  • Choose a mental health organization to learn about
  • Help a friend
  • Ask about mental health supports
  • Nurture your own well-being
  • Get involved
  • Engage in conversations

You can also find resources, learn more about some of the organizations providing mental health supports and services throughout Canada, and download the Bell Let’s Talk toolkit to begin your own conversation about mental health and create positive change at home, school, or in the workplace.

If you are in crisis, please go to the closest hospital or call 9-1-1. If you’re thinking about suicide, call or text 9-8-8 (Suicide Crisis Helpline) toll-free, anytime.
