Kingston Hydro customers in the Valleyview and Grenville Park areas listed below will be affected by a planned power outage on Thursday, July 28 to accommodate installation of a new hydro pole.

Customers in these areas will experience a five-hour outage starting at 7 a.m.:

• Portsmouth Avenue between Howard and Fairview
• Howard Crescent
• Smithfield Crescent
• Hawthorne Avenue
• Valleyview Drive
• Florence Street
• Sherwood Drive
• Grosvenor Court

This power outage is necessary to allow workers to install a new hydro pole and transfer the overhead lines on Portsmouth Avenue, as part of electrical infrastructure improvements in the area, on behalf of your electrical distributor Kingston Hydro.
